DIRECTIONS

The American Bar Association (ABA) doesn't have anything to do with alcohol, except maybe defending drunk drivers. The ABA seeks to promote improvements in the American justice system and develop guidelines for the advancement of the legal profession and legal education. It provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, legal information, and other services to assist legal professionals. Its roster of more than 400,000 members includes judges, court administrators, law professors, and nonpracticing lawyers. All lawyers in good standing with any US state or territory bar are eligible for membership. The ABA cannot discipline lawyers, nor can it enforce its rules; it can only develop guidelines.

ABA has about 900 employees
