CDW Corporation takes more orders than Beetle Bailey. The firm offers some 100,000 computer products, mostly through catalogs, telesales, and the company's Internet and extranet Web sites. Brands include Adobe, Apple, Cisco, Lenovo, Samsung, ViewSonic, and others. In addition to computers, CDW also sells items such as printers, software, accessories, and networking products from companies including Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft, Sony, and Xerox. Almost all of CDW's sales come from private business and public sector customers. Founded in 1984, CDW was acquired in 2007 by private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners for about $7.3 billion.
