Once a perennial favorite in the cell phone game, Motorola has lost some steam in that area as mobile phone users enjoy a wider selection of phones offered by industry leaders Nokia and Samsung, as well as Apple, Research in Motion, and LG. The company's home and network products include set-top boxes, digital video recorders, video broadcasting equipment, and IP telephony gear. Its products for business and government clients consist of broadband wireless systems used to build private voice and data networks and public safety communications systems.
